This project uses the Open AI GPT API and Vercel Edge functions with streaming. It constructs a prompt based on the user input, sends it to the GPT API via a Vercel Edge function, then streams the response back to the application.
After cloning the repo, go to OpenAI to make an account and put your API key in a file called .env. also add GPT model to use two popular options GPT_MODEL=gpt-3.5-turbo, GPT_MODEL=gpt-4. env.example added to repo
install packages using npm install
Then, run the application in the command line and it will be available at http://localhost:3000.
