Hello @MrMic, could you give me a few examples? This package is quite old so I didn't even remember it existed, but I just installed espanso + this package and everything seems to be working fine. It'd be great if you could tell me where are you using this (some specific editor or anywhere) and which tags so I could check it. |
Yes sure!
But: "::docskel" is OK! So on and so forth. Cdlt, |
I cant' reproduce this at all, both tags are working fine. Could you tell me what OS are you using, and if you have espanso up to date? I'm on Windows and just installed espanso and both are fine. It might be that some version of espanso isn't dealing well with the characters |
I am on Linux and Espanso version: 2.1.4-beta |
Okay I will try to reach out the developer regarding this issue. Meanwhile could you try updating espanso to check if it's fixed? It seems the latest version is 2.1.8-beta. Please let me know if it fixes your issue. |
I will see. It is a snap package ... But I will obviously update if it exists. TRhank for all. |
Hey @MrMic, just so I can fill out the details in the Issue I'll submit, what Linux distribution are you using exactly (Fedora, Ubuntu, etc.)? |
I have: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS |
Okay, thanks! Just so I can check some hypotheses to better describe the bug, could you please check these tags for me, and tell which ones are working correctly and which are not?
|
::optgroup => OK Hope that will help... |
Oops => ::!table -> ::table |
Well, that's a shame, I was expecting it had something to do with the fact some of these were multi-line replacements. Just to be sure, when testing these, did you type them in some specific editor or just in a normal text editor, or in your browser, etc? Just to be sure this isn't some specific program meddling with espanso's replacement. |
Just use Gedit. The Gnome text editor. Nothing fancy. |
Okay, thanks for the details! I'll submit an issue so espanso's developer can check this. |
@MrMic Just submitted the issue, you can check its progress here: espanso/espanso#1490 |
OK. 👍 |
Hi,
Most of the tags injected are, but without "<" and ">" :/
Very few are expanded correctly ...
Can u fix that?
