How to re-order the list of displays in the menu bar drop-down menu?

Is there a way to re-order the active displays in the menu bar drop down menu?

Yes! You can define an ordering string for displays.

Hmm. I tried that and pasted this in the custom ordering string : LG Ultra HD, Samsung Neo G9, RAVEN MTi2 but nothing changed. I pasted it in for each of my 3 displays general settings. I want it to be from top down, LG Ultra HD, Samsung Neo G9 and then the last one, Raven MTi2

The app by default sorts displays alphabetically. The custom ordering string is meant to override the name for ordering reasons (displayed name stays the same). So if your goal is to move RAVEN to the last place always, simply put a ZZZ in the field under the RAVEN display for example.
