Best setting for a 27" QHD display

Hi all!
I have some issues connecting my Apple MacBook to a Dell Ultrasharp U2724D monitor.
Settring the native resolution of 2560x1440 gives too small and rather unreadable fonts, while changing resolution into 1920x1080, suggested as the default one by MacOS makes everything bigger, but blur.
I also tried to install Better Display (not the free version but the paid one), but cannot find a solution.
Is there a tutorial or article, or better, could anyone suggest something that my can help me to fix the issue in few steps? The current version of MacOS is Sonoma 14.4.1
I apologize for probably having published my post twice, but I am new in the forum and the difference between "repository" and "forum" is still nor clear to me.

Hi there - this is what you might want to follow. You need to set a HiDPI resolution somewhere between 1920x1080 and 2560x1440 for the best results, but since a 27" QHD has a rather low pixel density, the image won't be as clear as the built in display (you might want to consider upgrading to a 4K 27" display).
