Multiple physical monitors and presets for connected/disconnected displays?

I have two physical monitors, and a Mac Mini M1 connected to them. Is it possible to create presets such as {Use Both Monitors, Only Monitor 1, Only Monitor 2} - which disconnect the other monitor on demand?

I'm trying to create a workflow where I can keep the Mac Mini M1 desktop visible while still being able to use both monitors' USB-C inputs. I use USB-C regularly for work/personal laptops etc and I would still like to have the Mac Mini M1 desktop visible.

I recommend using macOS Shortcuts App for this - use a Shell Script action, and with betterdisplaycli you can connect/disconnect the right displays.

Note a simple way to connect/disconnect a display is

betterdisplaycli set --namelike=displayname --connected=on

betterdisplaycli set --namelike=displayname --connected=off
