Currently you cannot test empty input fields in the prompt flow that are optional.

It is important to have optional input fields

Hi @adampolak-vertex Sorry, I didn't fully understand what you meant. Can you please describe it in more detail? It would be better to add some images to illustrate. Thank you.

Currently if you have an input field blank you cannot run an evaluation. Some of the input fields can be blank (they are optional in my flow), so now I cannot test them being blank.

Hi @adampolak-vertex According to your screenshot, the issue occurred on the Azure portal rather than the VS Code extension. Only the Python package issue and VS Code extension issue are supposed to be tracked on GitHub. We encourage user open OCV(one customer voice) for promptflow in Azure portal, please follow this guide to re-create the problem you met, thanks. (If you are a microsoft internal user, you could also use StackOverflow internal version directly.)

And we are working on this Azure portal issue now. I will reach you out later.
