A “bookmark” feature to mark our favorite parts on the progress bar

What you want IINA to do:
I want to be able to hit a keyboard shortcut, after which IINA adds a tiny bookmark on the progress bar. This would allow users to quickly find and revisit their favorite parts of a film.

What IINA does currently:
This feature currently does not exist.

Why you think this should be added:
I and many others would love to use it.

Examples of other projects that have something similar:
I’m not aware of other video players having it, if so, it could be another unique selling point for IINA. Here’s my quick mockup of the feature which has yellow lines as bookmarks on the progress bar:
