I'm a junior IINA developer and not always aware of the changes being made. I'm looking for color differences between 1.3.4 and 1.3.5 and not seeing it. I checked both light and dark themes. Where is it in the app that you see the color change?
I'm not seeing this behavior either? You may know more about the recent changes than I do… |
HI,
Well, maybe because I am, on Sonoma 14.5. I gave up using IINA beucuae it doesn’t reopen with the last film playing, let alone at the same position. This should be a standard, if not default, option. That has to be a feature before anything else.
And, yes, IINA, any media player, should open in the last position. I also noticed that if I set controls at the bottom, it resizes from there, so pushes different aspect ratios up or down from the bottom. Not sure if it is the controls doing that, but sizing from the bottom is terrible. It should always reside from the top.
I’m back using Movist Pro.

Just so happy that you got rid of the solid grey colour in 1.3.5. Long overdue!

I was under macOS Ventura when I was looking for the color change. I just looked under macOS Sonoma and I'm still not seeing the change. Are you using an IINA fork? Or maybe comparing against an much older version of IINA? In IINA's settings on the In IINA's settings on the |

If you can make an option to be fully transparent, like Movist Pro does, that would be terrific.
I also think that you made the window remember the last position it was in after closing last window, that quits, then opening a new film. Excellent. about time, too. Movist Pro still can't so that. So stupid.
The only other thing I can think if, if it doesn't happen already, if different size films open from top down, not from horizontal centreline resizing up and down. The latter sucks.
Thanks for making it so much better! :)
