Just so happy that you got rid of the solid grey colour in 1.3.5. Long overdue!
If you can make an option to be fully transparent, like Movist Pro does, that would be terrific.

I also think that you made the window remember the last position it was in after closing last window, that quits, then opening a new film. Excellent. about time, too. Movist Pro still can't so that. So stupid.

The only other thing I can think if, if it doesn't happen already, if different size films open from top down, not from horizontal centreline resizing up and down. The latter sucks.

Thanks for making it so much better! :)

I'm a junior IINA developer and not always aware of the changes being made. I'm looking for color differences between 1.3.4 and 1.3.5 and not seeing it. I checked both light and dark themes. Where is it in the app that you see the color change?

I also think that you made the window remember the last position it was in after closing last window

I'm not seeing this behavior either?

You may know more about the recent changes than I do…

I was under macOS Ventura when I was looking for the color change. I just looked under macOS Sonoma and I'm still not seeing the change. Are you using an IINA fork? Or maybe comparing against an much older version of IINA?

In IINA's settings on the General tab in the Behavior section there is a Resume last playback position setting. It actually does more than that. This enables mpv's Watch Later feature. It saves your playback position along with other settings. However it only does so if you quit IINA while playing the video. If you switch to another video in the playlist your position won't be saved. In the past there was a race condition where this feature failed to save the information, but that has been fixed.

In IINA's settings on the UI tab in the Window section there is a setting Initial window position that allows you to specify a location for the window when IINA starts. I recognized this is not the same as remembering the last window position.
