Describe the bug

I've been trying to migrate to the new BentoML 1.2 service syntax and am facing bugs left right and centre. I'm fixing them as I go as you might have noticed from a few recent PRs but there seems to be a lack of unit testing in place. Are there plans to put this in place? Without it I'm not sure how maintainable the new code is likely to be!
