Use AWS SAM CLI to package applications defined using the AWS CDK

Hope this is the right place to ask the following question: In the blog post where you announced the launch of supporting CDK applications in the SAM CLI you wrote that in the future the SAM CLI may also be used to package applications defined using the AWS CDK. Do you have more concrete plans by now when this future will be?
