legend titles broken in experiment comparison

Describe the bug

When logging metrics in a training experiment with the name "<" character, the title displayed in comparison view contains raw html (the 'span' tag). See screenshot.

To reproduce

compare experiments with metrics with a title stating with "<" and choose to group by metric.

Expected behaviour

no raw span html tag in the title
