Have you checked the GP2040-CE documentation HERE to confirm this feature doesn't already exist?

Yes

Which problem is this feature request solving?

I would like to be able to also use GP2040-CE as a custom keyboard to control a certain physics sandbox.

Describe the solution you would like to see

I would like it, for keyboard mode, to input simple key combinations such as SHIFT+F1 and the like, with the press of a single button.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Current macros would require me to map a button to CTRL, another button to F1, then build a macro to combine both.
But I don't need neither CTRL nor F1, I wouldn't ever input those alone. I just need the combo to be sent with the press of a single button

Can you submit a pull request?

Not really.

Are you planning on working on this feature yourself?

Going to peek at the code but it's quite unlikely I'm afraid.

I think the chances of this happening are low, but I will leave it here for now for folks to look at.
