Can't modify website after latest updates

After the recent updates I'm no longer able to make any changes to my website because I guess my template is out of date.

I am using the Academic theme and have been building on top of it for some time now.

At first I got this error:

I attempted to fix it by update my go.mod file to match this file but then I got this error:

Is my only choice to re-clone the repo and re-add all my information? I'm trying to avoid doing this but it seems like everything I try doing to "fix" my website just introduces new errors.

UPDATE:

I have made the changes recommended here and after that I have received a new error message:

ERROR Failed to resolve output formats: OutputFormat with key "wowchemycms_config" not found

I don't understand what this means so if anyone can help I'd really appreciate it.

You will get these Hugo errors when you upgrade Hugo to an incompatible version. If you use the same version of Hugo that was working before then it should continue to build as before.

As per above, the original error you received (.Site.GoogleAnalytics was deprecated in Hugo v0.120.0) is due to upgrading to an incompatible version of Hugo. If you continue using the earlier version of Hugo (<v0.120) which was previously working, then the site will continue to build as usual.
